How it works

Exiting plan mode

/exit-plan exits plan mode and shows the complete plan that was assembled while it was active, every recorded action laid out for you to actually read through.

From there, a normal message continues the conversation exactly as you would expect: ask tCode to proceed with the plan as written, point out something you would rather it do differently, or ask a follow-up question about one specific part before deciding anything.

Nothing from the plan applies itself automatically just by exiting plan mode; it only takes effect once you explicitly ask for it to proceed, the same approval-first principle that governs everything else in tCode.

If the plan needs adjusting rather than outright approving or rejecting, describing the change you want, "skip the migration step, handle that separately," is enough; the next response reflects the adjusted plan rather than requiring you to restate the whole thing.

Approving the plan as a whole is what stands in for the individual per-action prompts once tCode actually carries it out; that batched review, seeing every recorded action together before any of it runs, is the entire point of plan mode rather than an addition on top of the normal one-at-a-time prompts described in Permissions and safety.
