What this documentation covers

This documentation is organized to go from a first session to the full mechanics behind every part of it, in the order most people actually need it: installing tCode, how a single turn actually unfolds, every tool it has access to, the full command reference, the connector system, remote control from the browser, configuration, and the security model underneath all of it.

If you have not run tCode yet, Quickstart is the fastest path to a working first session, a handful of representative prompts included. If you already have a session running and want to understand why it behaved a certain way, the sidebar is organized so you can jump straight to the relevant section, How it works for the mechanics, Reference for the exact command list, Security for what is and is not possible.

Nothing here assumes you have read anything else first; each page links to the specific other pages it depends on, so you can start wherever your actual question is and follow the links outward from there rather than reading front to back.

Every hub page in the sidebar, like this one, opens with a short "This page covers" list linking straight to a dedicated page for each of its subtopics, so a specific question, how auto-approve is scoped, what a checkpoint actually captures, has its own real page rather than being buried a few paragraphs into a longer one.

If a specific question is not answered by anything you can find, the Ask tAI link at the bottom of every page is a direct way to ask it in plain language rather than continuing to search.
