Scoped to what your account can already see
Every connector search only returns results within what your account is already allowed to see through that specific provider, never anything broader.
/notion only returns pages that have been explicitly shared with the tAI connection specifically, not your entire Notion workspace by default. /github only returns repositories you personally own or already collaborate on, never public repositories generally just because they exist.
A connector search is never a way to reach content outside your own existing access through that provider; it is strictly a faster way to pull in something you could already see manually.
| Provider | Scoped to |
|---|---|
| Gmail | Your own mailbox. |
| Notion | Pages shared with the tAI connection. |
| GitHub | Repositories you own or collaborate on. |
| Linear | Issues across your workspace. |
This scoping is enforced by the provider's own access model, not by tCode filtering results after the fact; a query that would technically match something outside your access simply never returns that result in the first place, at the source.
