Model

/model lists every tAI model actually available on your account and lets you switch which one the current session uses, right in the middle of an ongoing conversation.

This can genuinely be changed mid-conversation without losing anything: the newly selected model picks up the existing conversation as it stands, rather than starting a fresh one from nothing.

Which models actually appear in this list depends entirely on your account's plan; a change in plan is reflected here automatically the next time you check, without anything needing to be reconfigured.

Unlike effort or theme, the model selected for a session is not remembered as a standing default across future sessions in the same way; each new session starts on your account's normal default model, with /model available to switch again if needed.

Switching models mid-conversation does not require re-explaining context; the new model reads the same conversation history the previous one had, the same way switching effort level mid-session does not require restating the original request.
