Usage and limits
Because tCode authenticates with your existing tAI account rather than a separate license or standalone key, usage through tCode counts against whatever plan that account is already on, exactly the same as usage through the browser does.
Any limits that already apply to your account in the browser apply the same way here, with no separate, tCode-specific quota layered on top.
/usage shows your current usage at any point during a session, and /model shows which models are actually available for you to switch between given your account's current plan.
This unified usage model also means there is nothing to separately budget or provision for tCode specifically; whatever headroom your plan already gives you in the browser is the same headroom available from the terminal, shared from the same pool rather than split between the two surfaces.
If usage ever becomes a genuine constraint, the fix is the same regardless of which surface you noticed it from, reviewing or changing your account's plan, not something specific to configure differently for tCode versus the browser.
